This picture was from a mid October outing at the Salmon river in Pulaski, NY. This poor girl was at the end of her journey and pretty tuckered. Even so she put up one hell of a fight. I detest snagging and dont fish that way. Salmon do take a fly but are the real fish of 1000 casts. The reward of a salmon steaming down stream with your fly is unparalled in fishing.
